Overview

 

Farmhouse Artisan Cheese products are either made to order or produced in limited quantities. We are dedicated to fast delivery and customer satisfaction. We have two options available: Store Pick-Up or Delivery. For deliveries, there is a flat rate shipping charge of $15 per package provided the shipping address falls within our delivery area.

 

Product availability is subject to change between the time that an online order is placed and the time of fulfillment. If we are out of stock on any item, we will contact you and adjust the order accordingly.

 

 

Honest Pricing & Weight Policy

 

At Farmhouse Artisan Cheese, our cheeses are cut by hand to provide only the freshest product. While we strive to be as accurate as possible, just like in our shop the final cut pieces may vary a little in size and weight. While you shop, you can request a weight and we will show you the associated price for everything priced per 100 grams. When you place your order online, your card will be authorized for an additional 25% markup in order to accommodate variation between the weight ordered and the actual weight fulfilled.

 

On the day of pick-up or delivery, we assemble your order and weigh each item to determine its final price. At the time of final billing, it may appear as though there are two charges if the pre-authorization has not yet cleared from your statement. The majority of pre-authorizations clear within a matter of hours following the actual charge at the time of shipping. We believe you should pay for what you’re getting, and guarantee that you’ll always pay the price for the actual weight of your products.

 

 

 

Online orders can be placed anytime for pick-up between 12pm-5pm Wednesday through Saturday. Order cut off is midnight for next day pick-up. Same day pick-up is not available. Please select a pick-up date and enter a preferred pick-up time at checkout.

 

We will notify you by email when your order is ready. Our Farmhouse Artisan Cheese Shop is located at 345 Kerr Street in Oakville, Ontario.

 

During the current COVID-19 situation you may select to pick up your order just inside our door or outside if you prefer. If you choose outside pick-up call us at (905) 582-9600 when you arrive and we will bring your order outside to directly hand it to you or place it in your vehicle. Just let us know your preference, as we wish to protect you and our employees during this crisis.

 

Currently we only ship to certain areas in Ontario, Canada. We use a local “Same Day” Courier Service, meaning your package is delivered the same day it is picked up from our shop. There is a flat rate shipping charge of $15 per package provided the shipping address falls within our delivery area.

  • Due to the nature of some of our products requiring an ice pack for cooling, we only ship on Wednesday through Saturday to ensure orders do not sit in our shippers’ warehouse over the weekend especially in the summer months.

 

  • Your order will be processed and shipped within 1-3 business days once your product order is confirmed. An email confirmation is sent once your package has been shipped with our courier.  We always send your tracking information so you can track where your package is.

 

  • Unfortunately we cannot deliver to hospitals, University of Toronto Erindale Campus or P.O Boxes.

 

  • If you want to send a gift basket to a retirement/nursing home, please ensure the facility accepts deliveries before placing your order.

 

  • If the recipient lives in an apartment or condominium, they must be able to accept the delivery in person at either the front door or lobby. Please include buzzer or access code, if applicable, at checkout (under ‘order notes’).

 

  • In order to keep the product fresh we may delay delivery during extreme weather i.e. heat waves and cold snaps.

 

Shipping can be delayed during high peak times such as the holiday season. We will try our best to deliver on the date you have requested, however due to the high volume of orders we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

 

Due to the nature of our consumable food products, we cannot accept returns. In the event we cannot complete your order due to fulfillment issues, payment will be refunded to your credit card within 3-5 business days.

 

There are no returns, refunds or cancellations allowed on any orders that have shipped. If you received an incorrect or damaged product, please contact the shop directly by phone at (905) 582-9600, within 24 hours of receipt/delivery.

 

Gift Cards

 

At this time, we only accept physical gift cards in store.
